Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, you will not want to visit Jefferson without stopping by The Grove. We have visited twice, the first time without kids and the second time with, and enjoyed it just as much if not even more the second time. Mitchel is warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the town of Jefferson. It... More

Inside is not what you would expect. It is sometimes listed on the Ghost Tour, but does have special tour times.

Mitchel is a fabulous guide, and the research he has done on this beautiful home is phenomenal. There is no doubt he loves his home, and as for the haunts, they know it, as well. WELL worth the fee for the tour. Go soak up some history!

My husband and I loved the tour of the Grove. It was within walking distance of our bed and breakfast (White Oak Manor) and very inexpensive. We enjoyed listening to the stories of the house and the activity they have had there. If you love ghost stories or just historical information this is the tour for you!

Want history? You got it. Want flavor of the town? This is the place. Only a couple of bucks for a lot of stories you can pass on(bet you do). Sign up the news letter,i look for it every month. Michael looks like a gold miner, but i would bet he has a heart of gold!

Mitchel the owner was very friendly and so full of historic knowledge. The house is one of those special treats to see. Be on the lookout you might even see a ghost.

He tells us so many interesting things about the Grove and the town of Jefferson, Texas. Please keep giving great historical tours of the Grove House! Thanks again for a very nice tour.

Last October my sister and I visited The Grove and enjoyed the tour very much....Before the tour even started the group was standing in front of the house while Mitchell told some of the history. They have 2 beautiful cats and one is a very friendly totoise shell who came to greet the group before Mitchell even came out. The... More

One of the highlights of my trip to Jefferson was a tour of The Grove. The current owner and corporeal resident was our guide through this beautiful home. He and his wife have done an amazing job preserving this historic structure. This isn't a huge home, but it has a mansion-load of ghost stories. Mitchel relates the stories in an... More

Very historic home-Owners were very knowledgeable with the history-Didn't see any ghosts, :( The home is very small, only 3 rooms were entered and furnished to meet the period of when house was built
