Not something I went to often but when I did I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I'm not a golfer but there were times I played with a partner who was; I enjoyed the exhibit and the theater and just nature...warning summer is NOT the best time to enjoy it!! Fall is great tho.

This is a great place! Whether it is a special event, such as the Japanese Festival, a romantic picnic with my husband, this is a beautiful place to be.

I visited Hermann Park twice. Once on Easter Sunday after church, and again on spring saturday after the museum. I had a picnic with my daughter and fiance. It was the perfect day, the weather was amazingly perfect. We found a spot under a row of trees in front of the water pool where ducks and turtles were swimming. There... More

A nicely ;;aid out park which we visited after our zoo visit. Lots of things to do and see, certainly the train at $3.25 is great value

In nice weather it is a great place to visit and walk around or just relax. The Japanese Garden is beautiful and well maintained.

The park has a zoo, Japanese garden, floral garden, golf course, science museum, performance stage, jogging trail, and near many outside park stores, restaurants, and modern museum. Parking is somewhat crowded.

Well maintained and lots to see and do - the zoo and museum of natural history are on the park grounds. Nice lake and very expansive park overall. We went on the weekend and parking was a bit of a challenge - highly recommend and early visit.

It's been four years since our first visit to Houston, which included a trip to the zoo and science museum. Zoo was very good--maybe not quite on a par with San Diego or Washington DC but way ahead of our local zoo in Boston. Science museum, on the other hand, though certainly a good one (and offering a butterfly garden!)... More

We enjoy riding the train, walking through the trails or near the reflecting pool, or floating around on the paddle boats.
