Enjoyed the scenery and the motorcycle experience on the way to ride the Tail of the Dragon. There is one intersection that was not clearly marked as to which direction to take. Some of our group made a wrong turn here.

We recently took the Foothills Parkway from Hwy 129 to Townsend. Drive is beautiful--rivals Blue Ridge Parkway in its beauty!

Leave the crowds at Clingman's Dome behind and travel along the Foothills Parkway to Look Rock. My son and I wen there early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the Smoky Mountains. We were renting a house in Townsend, TN so it was easy to access the parkway.
