Perhaps if you go there for a symphony, it may be alright. We went there for the Lyle Lovett show last night. We saw him on same tour 3 nights prior in West Virginia and had a blast that we still smile about. At Schermerhorn, I couldn't recommend it. The building is beautiful but although parking is wide open in... More

We went to the performance of Elijah. The hall is just beautiful and has great acoustics. The floor has several uneven places in it when you enter the aisles in the back. This could throw someone off balance if they are elderly, etc. Also, the rows on the right and left sides of the floor only have an exit on... More

I heard the Nashville Symphony with guest conductor Nicholas McGegan, who got standing ovations every night with his rousing performance of Mendelssohn's "Elijah". The hall is beautifully constructed and the crowd is pretty diverse (meaning it is obviously THE place to be in town!). In addition to the fantastic sound of the hall itself, here are plenty of exits, a... More

The Schermerhorn offers a variety of music and has one of the best conductors in the world (in my opinion). I have attended many concerts there and have never had a bad experience. There is also a very good restaurant on site which makes taking that special person to dinner even more enjoyable!

This was my first experience at a Symphony and it was lovely! We were visiting Nashville and found tickets for a very reasonable cost so we decided to go. This hall is made specifically for The Symphony so there is not a bad seat in the house. Although I'm not in to music that much I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Also... More

I love the Schermerhorn. I've seen the symphony, I've seen jazz, I've seen country... it all sounds beautiful in this venue. I can't say that I've sat everywhere, but the three places I've been all had very good views of the stage. The location is great with tons of parking nearby, especially in the Pinnacle building right across the street.... More

This is an ideal venue for symphonic or jazz. We have seen the Nashville Symphony as well as jazz concerts including McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea and Bela Fleck. They have an impressive calendar and can change the seating around to fit the act.

Just looking at the beautiful construction makes attending a concert here worthwhile. While we do not usually attend symphony performances, we do go for some of their Pop Series and some of their special events. Most recently we went for BB King. The acoustics are great. About the only seats I wouldn't want are the ones behind the stage. BB... More

Choreography was unique, music amazing and dancers top notch! Our seats 3rd row middle in the first tier afforded great views however we (incl. everyone I spoke to on our row) felt physically insecure with no handrails or other safeguards... one false step and you could easily tumble over the front rail down onto the lower level. Next time I... More

We go to concerts here on a regular basis and highly recommend it. The Nashville Symphony is worth hearing, especially in this unique hall.
