Stayed at the Gaylord and now wouldn't think about staying anywhere else. First class throughout with a great friendly staff. Good food and entertainment.
This was such a fun experience for our four year old. Was so beautifully decorated for the Holiday Season!
I love to stay at the hotel but when I can't I still make it over to go through the gardens. They are always so well manicured and the decorations at Christmas are beautiful.
Very much worth a trip at the holidays; there is so much to explore and enjoy. The lighting and decorations are superb! Park at the nearby shopping mall (the area of the parking lot closest to the Gaylord) and you'll see a path to walk over to the hotel grounds from there.

We were blessed to visit the Opryland Hotel Gardens in early December when they are decorated for Christmas and lighted. The gardens, water features, decorations, are truly beautiful. Pay close attention to all of the tiny details every where you look! Wow! The attention to detail and pristine nature of the grounds are Disneyland worthy!!! We loved the sequenced and... More
Massive hotel with grand lighting, beautiful gardens and a parking nightmare. Valet parking is a rip off and self parking is $20+ tax ( if you get a space).Yet,it is a must see when you visit Nashville( especially during Xmas time). I think the lighting goes on beginning of Nov and ends up Jan.
Think of the finest plant conservatory that you have visited, multiply the size by 10, and add fantastic Christmas displays ..... that is the Opyland hotel gardens. Read other reviews on how to bypass the parking costs. Do not go to "Holly Jolly town square" or "TREASURES for the holidays crafts" located in Ryman exhibit hall B. Read other reviews... More
