I highly recommend going Downtown Nashville. You will never run out of something to do here. Block and blocks of stores, bars, restaurants, music etc. If you want to get a cowboy hat or boots this is the place to do it. If you want to sit and relax and listen to country music or drink and eat this is... More

If you like music (any kind of music), you must spend at least one night on Broadway Street -- the Honky Tonk Row of the USA. One place after another, for 6 to 10 blocks on both sides of the street, of live music. Beers run about $5 each but the talent is incredible. Keep in mind, almost every great... More

Broadway street seemed very safe even though there appeared to be homeless musicians. There were quite a few intoxicated people walking around even on a Wednesday night. There are boots shops all over. I highly recommend wildhorse saloon. It is $4 for a bud light draft. $8 for a fruity rum mixed drink.

Walking the downtown area with all the bars and restaurants was so much fun. Bands were playing in every bar, usually in the window so that you could hear them on the street. It was clean and the whole atmosphere was fun and safe. Many choices for food and it was excellent.

If you love country music just go downtown, every bar and restaurant has live music. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to keep you busy too.

Downtown Nashville is a fun place to visit. At night it gets crazy busy but if you are ok with that then all is good. During the day, just strolling up & down the streets walking in & out of the stores & honky tonks is the thing to do. We enjoyed every moment of our time downtown. Just as... More

Downtown Nashville at night reminded me of a college town. So many bars, so many young adults drinking, bar hopping but it was fun walking through it. There are many restaurants, shops, bands playing, it was hard to choose. We walked during the day too but it was more fun at night!

We spent 3 days in the Nashville area and there are tons of things to see and do. We spend about 4 hours in the downtown area and there are 15-20 shops that are worth the time to visit, especially if you are a country music fan. Lots of restaurants. We were here about 5 years ago and nothing had... More

Love that the downtown area is so small and easy to get around. Love the honky tonks including Tootsie's. For great blues, check out BB Kings. Try one of the bars that have an upstairs for less of a crowd and a great view of the street.

Walked in and out of stores and shops on Broadway while enjoying country music from the endless bars, saloons, and honky tonks! This area of Nashville certainly supports the Music City reputation of the town. People are nice, courteous, and helpful in the stores. Lovely, clean atmosphere in more ways than one.
