This was a great place to visit and to remember the old days when Elvis and others were starting out.

Too much history here to be ignored. A lesson in blues, rock and roll and the cultural heritage of American music. Some outstanding exhibits, excellent tour guides and just a wonderful experience for anyone who enjoys blues, Rock and even some serious country (Carl Perkins started here too). They also have some great milkshakes and floats at the soda bar,... More

This is where it all began. Elvis, Johnny Cash and more. The original recoding studio is still there and the tour is lots of fun. Definietyly worth the trip. It is a small place with not much parking and was very crowded when we were there. The staff does there best to deal with it, and if you love music... More

It was like a step back in time to see where my childhood favorites recorded their music. The equipment looks ancient by today's standards. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. It was well worth the visit.

The Sun Studio is a very interesting piece of history! The guided tour was very informative (things you would never have known on your own) Lots of neat artifacts, including Elvis' microphone. The waiting area was a little crowded but once inside there was room enough for pictures. The girl tour guide we had was great, she really knew her... More

If you have time, you need to go through Sun Studio and see where Elvis got his start. This studio has not been changed much since the King recorded here. The artifacts on the wall are worth the price of the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very patient. The entire studio is not very big and doesn't... More

Sun Studio gave us an appreciation for the rich history of the Memphis music scene. Rae, our guide, was the sparkle of our trip. She makes all the history so interesting and alive. She has so much passion for the history that it makes anyone excited. We truly enjoyed the soda fountain stop...for a buck you can have the experience.... More

Obviously, after Graceland, one must see where he rock n roll movement started- thus, Sun Studios is the place. Was pleasantly surprised by the tour. I agree with a previous reviewer that most of the employees were very unenthusiastic and not helpful or pleasant. I was fortunate to have a wonderful young lady who was well informed and entertaining. She... More

I had a wonderful time! It was amazing to stand in the same room where so many legends have recorded. Marla, our tour guide did a fabulous job! She was very friendly. Everyone that worked there was very nice. I highly recommend you take a tour!
