The Memphis Zoo is always a great time for the family and it has always been free for TN residents on Tuesday after two!

one of the best zoo's I have been to in my travels. A bit pricey with 5.00 to park, and a 15.00 admit fee. Seniors are 14.00. plus an extra fee to pet the stingrays.

We liked everything! It was fun for everyone and our group ranged from ages 2 to 65!! The non-caged exhibits are fantastic allowing the animals to move freely, so they're are generally more active which is such a thrill, especially for young children. We all became young again that day. We will definitely visit again in the near future. Well... More

We have been to many zoos in the US from Coast to Coast. This is one of the nicer zoos that we have seen. Highly recommended during your visit.

A visit to the zoo was a perfect Mother's Day outing for 4 generations. I haven't visited the zoo in about 15 years, wow, has it changed! FedEx (and others) have invested a lot of money to make substantial improvements, making this a top notch zoo. The animals are displayed in a more natural habitat, rather than the concrete cages... The zoo is great! We live in Columbus and our zoo is the best, but, it is huge! The Memphis Zoo is the perfect size to fill your afternoon. We made sure to see the hippo, pandas, and sea lions. Cat Cove is amazing. Many different cats, all beautiful. We really like the fact that you could feed the giraffes,... More

So much better than the St. Louis Zoo I am used to. It is a bit smaller. However, the whole place is much cleaner. Also the layout lets you get much closer to the animals.

A great zoo. Nice size and easy to see the animals. Beautiful display areas and wide variety of animals. One of the nicest zoos I have been to.
