Stunning views all the way. Easy access for all and only gently hills. Get a drink at either end in one of the local pubs !!!
Some good views of the estuary, and inland. Two pubs and a cafe at Lympstone, and plenty to do at the Exmouth end. You can then catch a train back. Do watch out for the cyclists though, most will ring a bell or call out, but some are quite speedy along here as it is a popular cycle route.
If you would like to witness cycle/ walk path rage at its best - take the walk to Exmouth from Lympstone. The scenery isn't that pleasant anyway but add to that abuse by cyclists and walkers alike ( keep your head down and keep walking) and the whole experience is one to be avoided. Very angry bunch of people!
The investment in this walk is appreciated by many as it is a delightful walk along the Exe, dotted with seating and an ice cream vendor. Easy to cycle for the little ones and the less fit, it is a decent ride along, rewarded by the charming village of Lympstone with its pubs and quiet pebbly beach.
Brilliant uninterupted view across the estuary. Bird watchers paradise. Quiet, car-less walk with only the occcasional train to disturb the peace. Lovely Village at lympstone with several nice "watering holes".
