This was one of the most fascinating excursions I've taken to a historical site. When we headed north to Skerries from Dublin, we imagined the tour would take us around the exterior of some old buildings and maybe give us a peek inside. It wasn't anything like that. Not only have the two windmills, the water mill, and the grounds... More

Fantastic windmills, water mill tour, cafe, and gift shop. And the people are so friendly and helpful. It's a must-see on a trip to Dublin or Ireland.

Quite an affordable visit to the 3 mills. Staff were super helpful and enthusiastic. Lots of facilities at the venue and most of the machines were fully working.

The Skerries Mills are great local historic structures. We were looking for something close to do close by since we were winding down our two week trip to Ireland so we decided to go to the mills. It was a far better experience and tour than we ever imagined. Our guide was very interesting and very knowledgeable about the mills.... More

I was in Skerries a few years ago. It was my first stop in Ireland on the recommendation of a friend. I wanted to go to church, but my flight was an hour late landing, and when I arrived at the church (Church of Ireland in Skerries), the parisioners were starting to leave. When I expressed my disappointment at having... More

A group of us went to Ireland and stayed at The Redbank (Fabulous Guesthouse and Restaurant) in Skerries. Whilst there our genial host Terry organised a guided visit to The Skerries Mills. We were all amazed at this wonderful restored mill unique anywhere in the sense that the mill was driven both by water or wind. (Very "green" for its... More

We had a guided tour of the Mills, reasonably priced at 6.50 euro and shown all the machinery ( powered by Wind and Water ) that went into the Milling of Flour - well worth a visit. They have a Cafe, serving scones and beautiful brown bread and teas and coffees. They also have a souvenier shop with a stock... More

We stopped off here when on a visiti with friends who live in the area. It is a great place to look around. There was a lovely cafe and a well stocked craft shop. There was a very interesting exhibition of beautiful artwork which I would have liked to have more time to admire.
