It's a free attraction so I'm not sure why you wouldn't give it all 5 stars. It's located in a lovely park area. It's true the glass has a funny tint too it (you can tell it will as its gold on the outside lol) but you still get some great views of Knoxville and even the smoky mtns off... More

Enjoy this free attraction with a great view of Knoxville and a little bit of history thrown in for good measure. We did wonder about the carillon, though. What does it sound like? When is it played? Who plays it?

The windows were not that clear when looking out over the city, a bit disappointed. But it is quite a view.

If there's one thing you MUST do when you visit Knoxville, it's the Sunsphere. I mean seriously it's what makes the Knoxville skyline what it is, and best of all it's free. It's obviously not hard to find, and there's lots of places to park so it's not hard to get to. The walk through the World's Fair Park is... More

The Sunsphere is at the Worlds fair park in Knoxville and overs 360 degree panoramic view over Knoxville. It's free and there is free parking nearby although it's not well marked to find it. There is a restaurant and lounge in the upper floors but it is only open later in the week and on the weekends. Nearby in the... More

While researching our route from SC to IL I came across the sun sphere-and I had to see it. I felt access to it was average; however, there were no visible parking spaces. Not because they were all taken but because we couldn't find any. We drove around the Convention center confused as to were the parking for this attraction... More

The view was great, but the informational displays weren't very well presented or interesting, would have liked more pictures of the Worlds Fair.

It's like the archway in St Louis ...you just have to go up in it to see the view! Out of the respect for what it must have cost to build it...you just have to. But as much as I want to promote this city's speciaI thing, I have to say that the comments when you step off the elevator... More

Might as well go up if you are walking around downtown Knox. It was cute, and fun to read about its history.
