Beautiful area and views of the river were breathtaking. Lots of neat shops but was very congested and parking was scarce.
what can i say. it's in the title. we've been to chattanooga so many times from near huntsville, al and never had been in the bluff view district. took mom for her birthday. stayed in the bluff view inn which is an 1889 home that felt like would have been a mansion at that time. older furnishings but modern comfort.... to visit when we are in the Chattanooga area. Love walking around the sculpture garden, the cafe's and the Hunter Museum. Only downside is probably the hilly terrain. Rembrandt's is a great place to cool off and their pastries and chocolates are tasty.
Well revitalized area, neat art, nice views of city. Ate at Tony's, one of the better meals we had. The Art museum was a wonder overlooking the river.
A beautiful section of town. Wished we had a reservation at the Bluff View Inn, great view of the river. Near the museum, looked there would have been plenty to see on foot.
This area is really beautiful. What the (private) owners of much of this area have done is spectacular. Sculpture is shown in an appropriate and thoughtful way, area is well-maintained, and there's a variety of places to eat and shop.
Very nice attraction. Interesting outdoor sculptures that requires you to have an open mind while viewing them. Nice area that you can walk around or can rent a bicycle and explore downtown that way
We rented bikes and rode up and through the art district. It was a great view, metal sculpures in a garden walk and cozy restaurants all around. We enjoyed latte in the cafe.
