This huge mountain is awesome. Of course there are four large attractions up here. I also liked the big homes. Great experience
Every passing snowbird should stop and enjoy real southern hospitality as well as some of the most beautiful scenery in America. Great roads access to sites.
The park and views were great and as remembered, but too many houses built and being built up there!
The incline train ride is worth your time. It is a short but very steep ride up the side of Lookout Mountain. We had taken a road trip from Texas to see the fall foliage. Gorgeous scenery, great history, and wonderful tourist attractions. This is a must visit while in Chattanooga. Hint to travelers...Ruby Falls, Incline Railroad, Rock City, and Point Park are NOT within walking distance of each other. You will have to drive to each attraction separately.
The drive up Lookout Mountain is gorgeous in the fall. The panoramic views of Chattanooga from the top are spectacular. For the history buff, there are plenty of Civil War artifacts to see at the museum.

Lookout Mountain was our destination every day of our trip to Chattanooga. With attractions such as Rock City, Ruby Falls, the incline, Point Park and others, you will have a great time with vast number of interests. This one is a no-brainer can't miss place to go. Make plans and have a great time.
