We arrived close to closing time but we never felt unwelcome. The staff was extremely knowledgable and the wine selection was plentiful with cute names like Rushmore Red & Tickle Me! The new gift shop has great snacks from all over the world (chocolate covered red licorice!) and a lot of cute little wine-themed items. We will definitely stop in... More

It's just a quick stop where you pay about $5 (it may have been more than that, but it wasn't less) and get some wine samples. You buy your wine and leave. Nothing more. The wine was good, although I don't remember the name of it. I bought a sweet, white wine.

Not nearly as "foo foo" as Prairie Berry but very good wines and service. More like a weinprobe or weingut along the major german rivers. Nice counterpoint and definitely worth a stop - the wine tasting is free so what do you have to lose? Definitely recommend.

A nice little winery right down the road from the Prairie Berry winery. Did several tastings here as well and their wines were good, wouldn’t say they were great but I’m not a huge wine fan either. Stopped to try their Rhubarb wine, it is 100% Rhubarb and was excellent. Their overall selection of wine was not quite as good... More

This is okay, the wine is pretty good but nothing earth shaking. The people are pretty friendly. If you are doing a winery tour in the Black Hills, you could stop here on the way and probably wont be disappointed.

The winery offers free tasting sessions with very friendly staff. Relaxed, cozy atmosphere - fun to browse the small gift shop. Has local "flavor" in the wine labels, as in "Full Throtle" Merlot, which is named for a famous Saloon in Sturgis, of motorcyle rally fame. (Very good local wine). Fun small stop.

Free wine tasting. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed the wine and will return. Pasque and Full Throttle were our favorites.

To me this just seemed to be more of a tasting room and not a winery. I tasted wines from wineries in another city. I didn't even know they had their own wine until a TA review!

My husband and I stopped in for a wine tasting, where you could try 6 wines. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly, genuine people. They explained their process very well and accurately described the wines before tasting. Our staff member was very knowledgable and upbeat. The guy who rang us up was very positive as... More

They sell their own wine and also wine from at least a dozen other wineries in the area. If you're not sure what to look for you can sample several choices for a fee.
