If you are a sailor, this is a must see, a must stop. From land or sea. Obviously like any small museum it could definitely use a million or two to spend on their exhibits, but it is wonderful as is.

If you are a sailor than you have heard of Hereschoff. It's a very small museum, but you can go on classic Hereschooff sail boats. It's worth a visit.
This museum details some of the major contributions of Bristol mariners and boat designers in pursuit of the America Cup, in lucid photo displays. In a large adjacent storage room, dozens of beautiful craft, some of incredibly large dimensions, are displayed, some with walk-thru access. Souvenirs and books are available in the museum.
