taking pictures of what looked like an engagement or pre-wedding something or other. This place is gorgeous and unlike a lot of places that have waterfalls, it was much more accessible to non-hikers. You can do as much or as little walking as you would like and still be able to see some or all of the natural falls and... More

This location was just 10 minutes from Wilkes Barre, PA. There are some beautiful water basins that spill into each other on the main wooded trails, but if the weather is nice those areas are usually packed with people. You don't have to work very hard to get to them. Instead of making these basins your end point, keep walking... More

This is a great spot with a couple choices for hiking. There are a couple options for a hike and neither are extremely difficult though very young children or the elderly could have problems with the uneven ground and climbing. When you first get to here, be sure to stop on the foot bridge to admire the fall and one... More

This is a very nice place to go for a walk through some beautiful trails, a hike up the mountains, or even a swim in one of its many waterfalls/waterholes. Very beautiful and worth the trip!

DON'T hang out around the bridge but say a prayer and you might be able to see this place for what it is; amazing. If your from NEPA its the small road to the right off the HWY. Park and you can see the waterfall

If you grew up in NEPA, you no doubt know about "the tubs." It can be VERY easy to miss (the entrance is a tiny gate right off a busy highway), but don't pass it up. There are awesome waterfalls, miles of trails, and streams in which you can cool off. Don't make the newbie mistake of hanging out around... More

Scenic trails...great hiking with beautiful scenery. Beware some of the trails can be a little bumpy, my five year old had to be extra cautious. Obey the 'No swimming' signs, very dangerous...staples in my head to prove it.

My kids (9 & 12) enjoyed this walk with me. Took about two hours, due to many stops to explore. Stream and waterfalls have carved an interesting gorge and 'tubs' Not many other trails in this immediate area.
