My son and I have skiied and snowboarded here for a few years. I guess no one in the reviews bothers complaining about $$$ because all ski places are expensive. But, some more discount weekends for locals would be appreciated. We've had trouble with their over-priced, machine hot cocoa being watery more than once. Last time, we complained. Cold skiers... I live very close to Bear Creek and have gone skiing there for a couple of years. The difficulty of the slopes matches my ability, so I can go there and ride most of the green and blue trails. One of the things that I don't lke is that the trails are short and you end up spending more time... More

As others have said, these are not the biggest of mountains, but they would be a fun challenge for most medium skiers. For those who don't Ski, the tubing section looks high and wild, with safety being their focus. The top hill operators do not send anyone down, until the lanes are completely clear (and that includes the "Catch Net"... More

Went skiing with the family on Superbowl Sunday and loved it. I have skied at many of the resorts in the poconos and after 1 trip to Bear will seriously question going anywhere else. The slope is great for kids and beginners and they have a great family deal for Sunday nights. Where this place shines is the excellent customer... More

We have been lovers of BC for almost 8 years. Our kids have learned how to ski on this mountain. It is the perfect size for families! Not the biggest of mountains, but we really never cared...has many diff trails to choose from so all levels are happy (excluding black and double black skiers) Fun terrain park for those who... More

Very conveniently located to Philadelphia, Bear Creek offers a good alternative to Pocono skiing. Most of the slopes are blue and green...geared towards more beginner and intermediate level skiers but it's a very nicely maintained ski park. They do have terrain slopes and black trails too. The employees are friendly and the rental process was very easy. The lodge is... More

It is a terrific little resort located right on the slopes. They have a great ski school for the kids. Our kids did a combination of discovery lessons and private lessons. All the instructors were great and my kids we skiing/snowboarding on their own in just 2 days. The resort is nice and clean. It looks new. I would definitely... More
