I've visited Carnglaze many times in the past 5 or so years, every time as a concert venue. It is like no other and so unique with the constant cool temperature creating an eerie but exciting atmosphere, the beautiful slate and the sound of great music resounding around the caves. Strangely beautiful slate mines, which are a fantastic venue for concerts. Great on a hot day, wonderfully cool.

This attraction is quite expensive but it's great to visit in any kind of weather as the caves are a constant temperature which makes them warm in winter and cool in summer. A great experience, especially on a hot summers day, as the air is a constant cool 15-17 degrees. Breathtaking sights to be seen - I won;t spoilt it but it is definatly worth a look, then afterwards you can explorer the wooded grounds.
