After reading the previous review entitled 'Last Tango' I couldn't help but respond with, what I would consider, the majorities version of events... My partner and myself went to see 'Tango In The Night do Fleetwood Mac' last Friday night and really enjoyed ourselves - the staff were helpful and friendly, as we're the proprietors, and it is unquestionably an... I've visited Carnglaze many times in the past 5 or so years, every time as a concert venue. It is like no other and so unique with the constant cool temperature creating an eerie but exciting atmosphere, the beautiful slate and the sound of great music resounding around the caves. Prices are fair and the acoustics are second to none.... More

We had the most amazing wedding at Carnglaze Caverns. Caroline & Graham were the perfect hosts. They were well organzed and made sure everything went smoothly for us. The Caverns and surrounding woodlands are simply stunning to look around. Even more so when we lit 600 tea lights in the caverns add a little music and it was just fairytale... More

Went to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute act Tango in the night here last night I can only say what an utter waste of money the group were excellent but the venues management where rubbish, when you charge money for an evenings entertainment and please bare in mind its a live music event I would hope you expect your customers... Strangely beautiful slate mines, which are a fantastic venue for concerts. Great on a hot day, wonderfully cool.

Hubby was a bit reluctant to visit as we've been down a tin mine before and he found it claustrophobic. No chance of feeling that way in these caverns, though! We spent about 45 minutes wandering around, reading the descriptions and trying to get some decent photos, which was quite a challenge. A couple before us had seen a bat,... More

This attraction is quite expensive but it's great to visit in any kind of weather as the caves are a constant temperature which makes them warm in winter and cool in summer. There is good free car parking and the owner is welcoming and knowledgeable. The caves themselves are impressive. You are given a hard hat, torch and map and... More

After driving past the sign for these caves many times, we decided to pay a visit. As we live in Plymouth and my cousin in Truro we thought it would be a good meeting point where we could spend a few hours. We ended up feeling very disappointed ! The caves themselves were quite interesting and after our talk about... More

A great experience, especially on a hot summers day, as the air is a constant cool 15-17 degrees. Breathtaking sights to be seen - I won;t spoilt it but it is definatly worth a look, then afterwards you can explorer the wooded grounds.
