Cheap 45 minute trip around City Island. We went on a sunny Saturday, had a few beers (for purchase on the boat), and enjoyed the views. Look online, there's usually discounted ticket coupons floating around out there (try the Harrisburg/Hershey Tourism website).

We homeschool and took a ride of the boat for a school field trip. The instructors were wonderful!! My son wasn't the only one learning that day! I took in a lot of information as well. It was a beautiful day and the boat ride was just lovely!

A few years back I went on a dinner cruise/ wine tasting event. I had an absolutely amazing time and I would love to do this again.

We had a day to spend in Harrisburg. This was a really pleasant trip. The ship is kept beautiful. The staff were so informative and were there to answer any questions. The captain gave a really interesting talk while we were waiting for people to come before we boarded. On the boat the captain and staff made the trip interesting... More

Fun, clean boat ride, local information by captain, pretty views of Harrisburg. Lots of historical and geological information presented.

I decided to take a ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna after seeing an afternoon game at the Harrisburg Senators right next to the river. I was very disappointed. The ride cost $9 for an adult and lasted about 45 minutes. I was expecting this to be a descriptive ride, where the captain or tour guide provided a description... More

If you like transportation history, or just beautiful old things - you will love this boat. It is beautifully restored, true to original. Nice ride. We had our meal catered.

Nice saling, although not much to see along the river. No one seemed able to direct us to where it sails from; entailed a long walk from the parking area, which also had a parking charge. The boat itself is handsome, but isn't set up well for sightseeing; main cabin is a nice tavern, small windows, upper deck has a... More

The cruise on the Susquehanna was relaxing and informative. I went on a senior citizen bus (15 passenger) and there was not enough room for our driver to feel comfortable to drive down closer to the dock, so peopel with walkers had to walk down and then back up a hill.

The river itself is beautiful with islands everywhere. The grass "park" was crudely cut with grass tickling our "buttocks" when we sat on the few park benches. Sad, as it could be a beautiful area. We did stay at the Comfort Inn in Harrisburg after this fiasco, which was adequate and near the very small historic area. Once on the... More
