Beautiful theatre and an outstanding performance by a 13 year old wonder. Sound was good and the Oregon symphony excellent!
My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to enjoy front row seats for this concert. The special effects of fog and snow were charming by the stage. The music was great and the venue is very accommodating for the half-sold out performance. There is a coat check room tucked at the far end of the lobby. Drinks and snacks are... More
I lucked out and got early seats so third row and center isle. Mannheim Steamroller is a nice holiday way to get in the spirit. Like the Blue Men no look to be original but they play well and we enjoyed it. The film they show I say 15 years ago so Chip Davis is getting his money's worth with... More
This theatre is the best place in Portland to experience a concert or any musical production. I've seen Carlos Santana & Tori Amos there as well as a couple of other shows. Go there if you get a chance!
We saw a stand-up performance by the star of America's Test Kitchen at the Schnitzer last week. Not exactly what we were expecting (we thought that there would be more cooking...duh!), but we still enjoyed the show. If you get a chance to see one of your favorite artist perform at the Schnitz,,,, DO IT! I happen to love Jack Johnson and to be able to watch and hear the music in this setting was fantastic. You'll never hear your favorite artist in such an intimate setting nor have such quality acoustics. One of my best concerts... More
I saw Tony Bennett here with my wife and wow, what a show and in the perfect venue. There literally isn't a bad seat in the house at the Schnitzer. You feel like you are right there in the middle of the show and the place is so nice inside. A true gem of Portland.
This historic concert hall has been carefully maintained and is stunningly beautiful. The acoustics are impeccable and a real treat to enjoy. If you are able to visit while the Oregon Symphony plays you will be in for a great visual and audible treat you won't soon forget.
