We visited on a day the museum was closed. The two buildings were quite cold which made it uncomfortable. The two docents were very knowledgeable and took time to explain and answer questions. There was an interesting collection of small and exotic airplanes. The collection of models was fantastic. A visit on a warmer day would have been more pleasant.

We were pleased to attend the museum on it's Open House day - admission was free and there were LOTS of volunteers!! My grandchildren & I were treated like VIP's and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My husband and I wend to the Oregon Air and Space Museum on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Salem, OR. We were not disappointed. The variety of the items in the Air museum was incredible - from early aircraft to modern-day military aircraft. The docents were informative and while speaking to one, I found out he was... More

I am a frequent visitor to this museum; some displays remain the same, while others change, so there is always plenty to see. Conversations with the volunteers are informative and fun; they are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The displays are wonderfully laid out; the exhibits and pictures are well-marked, and the planes are wonderful!

Very friendly and knowledgeable volunteer run museum. We got a private tour and were able to ask a ton of questions and learn a lot. Very cool collection of model aircraft. Lots of information on WWII aces with lots of memorabilia. Many great aircraft, engines, etc. Nice display of space items too! My 10 year old son and my wife... More

My husband works with plane and helicopters. We were here for an entire day. It was fun for me too, but for him it was heaven. There is so much to see and read about, it can be overwhelming. I might suggest a two day trip if you're an avid aviation fan.

Kids and Adults will enjoy these cool planes! The museum hosts wht is believed to be the world's largest collection of model planes -- ranging from the early Wright brother planes to contemporary planes. In addition, there are lots of life-size planes. Don't miss the second (and larger) hangar where one can climb beside 4-5 planes to look into the... More

This is a small museum that is not well known. Largely volunteer and very friendly. It appropriately reflects community.

We visited this museum on our last day in Oregon as we were looking for something to do before our flight out of Eugene. It was really disappointing, especially compared to the Air & Space Museum in McMinnville that we had visited earlier in the week.
