Ecola State Park---sunrise---the view is a spectacular sweep---The view of Cannon Beach from here is one of most photographed on the Coast. Foggy or rainy days make this a magical place to photograph---the view south toward Crescent and Cannon Beaches is spectacular. Best in late afternoon with incoming tides.

We spent hours here and could have stayed longer. We went during the day and then went back to watch the sunset. It was spectacular!

We went here to see Haystack Rock from the Goonie movie. Quiet beach. clean. The only problem we had was trying to get to the beach. We could see it from the park, but there weren't signs pointing the way. we turned around 3 times before finding a pathway.

This is a venerable state park in Oregon--with views of Tillamook Lighthouse and the coastline. It can be windy, so be sure to have a windbreaker if needed.

Spectacular views and nice trails for hiking down to different views. handy restrooms and picnic tables.

The locals hosted a short hike to see some of the oldest remaining cedars - between 800-1,000 years old. Everyone was so pleasant and the walk was beautiful! The trees are so big and its humbling to think that they were around in 1113 AD......wow!

The park currently has a $5 Day Use Fee. The pay station is right at the park entrance, and takes MC/Visa. We drove to the Indian Beach, and walked down.
