I've lived in Tulsa for most of my life, and the Phibrook has always been one of those go-to places to enjoy an afternoon. The museum itself is gorgeous, and being in such an interesting historical building is almost as interesting as the artwork. The grounds and gardens are probably the best part. Very extensive and well kept. Lots of... More

I think the main attraction are the gardens. Beautiful and almost immaculate upkeep. Take some to strroll slowly thru the gardens to really enjoy them. We were there in April and most everything was in bloom or ready to bloom. Very well done exhibits. Extensive gift shop. Very good little restaurant.

On the second saturdays of every month, the museum has a free day. They host many events for kids and even give them free art kits. Or you can just go and walk around. All areas open on this Saturday's so you can cruse the gardens, the whole house, grab a bite, then visit the gift shop. I love this... More

I was very pleasantly surprised with the collection of Art that the Philbrook had, much more extensive and varied than I was expecting. I especially enjoyed the Thomas Moran paintings of the American landscape. I fell in love with his work after seeing what the Philbrook had of him.

I was best man at a wedding hosted at the Museum. Building, location and gardens are amazing. The collection and exhibits are superb. Wonderful place - well worth the visit if you are in Tulsa

The grounds and museum of this lovely place are not to be missed. Because this was originally built as a mansion for a wealthy family, it's great to see the architecture of the original mansion and grounds worthy of a French chateau. The art collection is wonderful and makes for a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

I cannot say enough good things about this museum. The home itself is a work of art, but because it is a home, having the chance to walk in and out of rooms, down corridors and up/down staircases, offers a truly intimate art experience. Although there were others in the museum, because of the palatial grandeur of the home, I... More

This is a must see place during any visit to Tulsa. The home of a former OIL tycoon. Just beautiful. My last visit was to attend a garden wedding.

The gardens are amazing. The art is a great variety of pieces from all different eras. April is a great month because it does not seem so busy.
