For starters, the grounds were beautiful with great banks of azaleas in full bloom surrounding the parking and entry areas. The western art and history was very interesting and lovely to experience. We spent about 2.5 hours touring

Well worth the visit, this was an astonishing collection of Western Art and Native American Art. The galleries are well lit and give you plenty of room to roam. Super gift shop also. Was pent 2 hours and could have spent more. If the weather cooperates, the gardens are really worth seeing.

Wow! So many paintings and bronzes by Remington and Russell! The sculpture outside the front of the museum is featured on many Oklahoma license plates. There is so much else to see and it is well worth the visit.

This is a very special museum! It has exciting exhibits for all ages. It is one of the best collections of western art and native american antiuities in America. If you are in Tulsa don't miss it!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality of art at this museum. A great collection of paintings and sculptures really captures the heart of the West, and includes some interesting western history along with artwork. Particularly impressive was a collection of Remington sculptures. Don't miss this when in the Tulsa area.

The Western art is fabulous and well displayed. We really enjoyed the lower level with the archeological materials available for viewing in a series of drawers. Many museums store their items in storage behing closed doors. We really like the way Gilcrease allows you to see items in storage behind glass or in drawers. Not sure about time frame but this was when the Washington exhibit was there. Very well done and informative.

The museum is one of the best in the Country for North American Indian culture and western art. Original Albert Bierstadts, Thomal Morans, and many others. The restaurant is very good and has a beautiful view over rolling hills. Don't miss this museum while in Tulsa.
