Went there for the Media Day for the new Gatekeeper Coaster two days before the season opening of the park. You had to be an invited guest to attend and Cedar Point went all out to make it an enjoyable experience. I have never been to a park that has more high thrill rides than Cedar Point. Every year it is one of the top three coaster parks in the world. We came to Cedar Point for a special event day and had a wonderful time. The lines weren't too bad (never waited more than an hour). The staff was friendly and overall the park was clean. Only frustration came with maintenance delays on some of the rides, but this expected of any amusement park.

Even though it was 55 degrees, we had an awesome time! The park is kept super clean and beautifully landscaped. It's easy to get around in. It was somewhat windy and some of the rides weren't open right away; we had early access passes but didn't really see a need to do that since some of the rides weren't open... More

I just wish it was 8 hours from NY, So fun and is so much better than Six Flags in Jackson, NJ. The rides outweigh the rides at any other amusement park in the world. The best rides are Millennium Force, Maverick, and Magnum XL200

A little disappointed the wind closed some of the big rides, but that can happen. Although I went to Cedar Point over 10 years ago, I still have a very vivid picture of my experience. After driving about 9 hours from New Jersey to our rental unit for a family reunion of a good friend of mine. The weather couldn't be anymore perfect for riding roller costers.
