A wide range of exhibits. Trams available. Two "zoos"; rainforest and main zoo. Several air conditioned buildings. Great hand-on vet building; and you may get to observe a procedure. Do NOT go on monday; free day for residents and it is crowded; less so in the summer than during the school year. New carousel coming soon.

We took my at-the-time 4-year-old great niece last year. She really enjoyed it. My husband and I really like zoos and for a small city like Cleveland it is a pretty good zoo. We have been to Columbus, San Diego, and Detroit zoos, as well.

How can you not love this place? It's one of the better zoos I've ever seen, and they really go to great lengths to make the habitats as authentic to the animals as they can. Knowledgable staff, beautiful layout, lots of fun. :-) I highly recommend the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. :-)

Giraffes, monkey island, water conservation. We brought a picnic lunch and took the free tram to the top of the hill. Kids played in the playground and then we walked down to the petting zoo and kids railroad. Walked by the huge elephant area. Next time will visit the domed area and see what mysteries it holds. I love zoos, and frequently travel to visit a good one - and this is definitely one of the good ones! My membership with another zoo gets me in for half price, but even at full price, this zoo is well worth it. When my children were younger the zoo pass for the season was a great value. There is so much to see from the rainforest exhibit to the Australia outback. They offer great interactive events for children. A must see!

This has always been a nice zoo. They had recently redone the elephant exhibit and it looks great! The park is clean, well kept, healthy animals and a great environment.

Wrap up a lunch and go! We took our nieces to the zoo and had so much fun. The elephant exhibit and guides were brilliant. We also are partial to the butterfly house. However, you can see about anything at this zoo.
