Nice looking lodge. Stayed in the lodge one night. Power went out for several hours over night. They do not have generators so we had to deal with it. Took a shower at 9 am next morning, water was hardly luke warm. According to the manager this is normal, they don't have enough hot water for the morning demand. Keep... More

We haven't returned there for a couple of years but as soon as we entered the cottage we noticed that the hot tub was empty. They did immediately fixed the issue and gave us free breakfast. This last stay when we entered the cottage the hot tub was cold and would not warm up. Maintenance said it was a half... More

We stayed as a family at the lodge....Christmas decorations, lights, fireplaces etc all added to some great pictures and warm atmosphere during a very cold snowy season. Can't wait to go back....by the way, they have the best coffee ever! Try a cup and relax on leather sofas near the fireplace.....AHHHH!

I visited Salt Fork one year for my birthday and we all had the best getaway weekend. If you go in the winter, take your winter gear and hit the hills from some sledding - but be warned, these hills are not for the faint of heart. I started about half way down with my little boy - but my... More

Actually, this would be a beautiful destination at any season. We stayed in the park campground, which is very large with over 200 campsites divided into 5 different loops, all separate from the other so it doesn't seem as big as it is. Shower houses could use some updates, but externals of buildings well kept. Park is very rolling and... More

Desk and maid service staff was friendly, very clean rooms, excellent pool, awesome views! The problem, the restaurant. We ate breakfast and got prefab microwaved bisquits and gravy, hard eggs after we said over easy, frozen microwaved hash browns, cheap sausage and weak coffee. The only thing made fresh was the pancake we added on. Service was lousy too. The... More

Nice colors in fall. Easy hikes but short. Nice cliffs and stone house museum was intereting. Pretty lake. The dog was able to run around and play. Easy to get to from the lodge we stayed at.

Great place for hikers, boaters and campers. The park is very spread out, so to get to anywhere in the park, you must drive. There were many horsemen this weekend and the park really does cater to them unlike our home state of PA.
