Nice area for a State Park. Beautiful setting, close to the water and hiking trails into the woods. Enough camping sites to please anyone wishing to stay there. Lots of things to do in the area.

It's big and busy but worth it to see some of the sights. Going up Mount Constitution to take in the amazing views is a must. Lots of options if you want a walk in the woods or around lakes. The park staff was really helpful with suggestions of various trails and activities.
The views are to die for. On a clear day you see further down than the posters says. It gets very windy so come prepared. You can get very nice pictures from here and the educational posters are rather interesting. The Short climb to the top of the observation deck is worth it. Definitely must stop since the drive has...

Definitely make it a point to drive to the top of Mt. Constitution! The views so the islands, Mt. baker, and the Canadian cascades are breathtaking!
The lovely drive up the road in Moran State Park is windy and wonderful with views of majestic forests and mountain lakes. There are crowded campgrounds and you can swim in the lakes. The best part is the mystical view from the top of Mt. Constitution.
It's the Pacific Northwest...It's a Park...you'll walk, you'll bring a picnic lunch and your dog...you'll love it.
Great trails and hikes, lakes and mountains...I love this place. My son and I like to camp and I have camped and hiked in many places, this one is in my back yard (so to speak) and it is my favorite.
Take a good walk around the lake. The scenery changes and is quite picturesque. There are natural hideaways for wildlife, good picnic spots too.
