Picked this race because it fit my schedule, and I had never been to Fargo ("you betcha"). Although the marathon is the main event, the hoopla seems to be a 5K walk/run the night before as they tried to get to 10,000 participants. All up, the race weekend had ~20,000 runners which was way more than I had expected, although... More

This was my 37th marathon and I really enjoyed it. A bit of a late start compared to many races but great starting location and finish at the Fargodome as covered in case of bad weather and plenty of bathrooms. The route was flat but not too much to see. However the bands and crowd support made up for that.... More

Whether you want to run a 5K, 10K, half or full marathon, this event has it all. Super great event and the Fargodome is the perfect venue.

Our Daughter ran in the race(13 miles). It is very well run and this year it was very humid and hot so the runners were well taken care of too.

The event was well organized except they start the marathon as the last race of the day. This causes the race to be warmer than it needs to be and slower times. They could start the race at 6:00 and avoid this issue. I will not run the marathon again unless they change the start time.

I've ran both the half marathon and the full. The full wasn't quite as "fun" but that's probably d/t the distance. For the half, I literally had so much fun with all of the music, crowds, and camaraderie with other runners that I looked up and happened to be 1 mile from the finish. The expo was filled with interesting... More

The Fargo Dome is a perfect location to start/end the races but there is are too many people for traffic to flow. Make sure you plan for delays and parking issues. Other than that, this is a wonderful event.

Ran the 5K for the first time. This race is organized so well. Tons of fun and the flat terrain will give you your personal best time!

I've never ran the marathon myself but my friends say it's fun. Fargo is very flat so you don't have to worry about running up hills. There are always people watching the runners the whole way and cheering them on.

20,000 runners (and walkers) can not be wrong, year after year. This is a premier marathon. Extremely well organized. If you like to rund don't miss it.
