Beautiful people, mixed crowd, manageable crowds on busy weekends, great for running, surfing sunning and just hanging out. Great beach houses for rent and good hotels.

The island has a rythem unlike any other, and a wonderful rythem it is. From child to adult a really neat place to visit. I wish I could give gifts of week a beach house at Wrightsville to all of my friends, dont think that would ever be topped.

I surf so I can say it's a great beach to visit and enjoy the water. it's always clean and has great parking before noon. it may be a problem after noon though so time your visit accordingly.

Travelled to Wrightsville for Easter Sunrise service and family gathering. Walking pier to point from Station One, plenty of breathing room, happy people with dogs on leashes. Clean, comfortable and the weather was great. Parking averaged about $12.00/day on lumina street, the location where we parked, but it was worth it. You can pay by coins, dollars or credit card. It's public parking and great beach access.

Lovely beach great shells! Town really caters to tourists and we loved it there. Can't wait to go back.

Check out the sandcastle! I think it's provided by the hotel. Much too elaborate for a bunch of kids to have constructed.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn. Right on the beach, great indoor and outdoor pools for kids, a well stocked breakfast buffet, with discounted kids meals, kids activities, and even kids suites. This is a popular place, so book well in advance.
