The was in good shape when I played it mid-May. I was told they had had a lot of recent rain which may explain the good condition given the other complaints here. There were a few rough spots on a few greens but for the value I thought it was fine. Some very challenging steep terrain with blind shots but... More

Bad enough were the goofy elevated shots, blind dog legs, etc. Throw in dead rough and shaggy greens (long because they aren't irrigating enough so this is how they save the greens). So the course was junk. The kicker however was the bag of "rentals" they gave me (I'm a 5 handicap but hadn't planned to play on this trip).... More

Recent reviews said there were severe conditioning problems but I found the greens to be coming in well and the tees and fairways pretty good. This is a nice layout and the conditions appear to be improving. The layout is good and the staff was pleasant.

This former beautiful course fell into disrepair several years ago during a prolonged drought and new ownership. Felt it was time to try it again after several years of avoiding it. Was assured it was in very good condition by the Manager on the phone. Not- The 18th green was the only one having any type of reliable putting surface... More

This place has changed owners and is in really bad condition. If your handicap is below 20, then you'll hate this place

My title sums it up. I've played the course several times, and would play it more often if it weren't for some of the strange hole layouts. No. 1 is a decent starting hole, but the issues begin on No.2 -- you drive down into a gully, and from there the hole is dogleg-left and up a steep hill to... More

Lovely scenery and tough course. What more can you ask for. About 20 minutes from downtown.

Wow, what a lovely golf course, not your $100 plus type course with hackers taking ages and people with loads of money pretending to be good but a true hidden gem type course, beautiful houses around the fairways but all understated, lovely holes, not a bad one amoungst them and a course you need to think your way round rather... The place was fairly decent under former owner Lee King but Since Warrior Golf took over ownership the course has really went downhill. The grass in many rough areas on just about every hole is dead or dying because of (I've heard) a bad irrigation pump which Warrior had been warned about but was too cheap to fix it till... More
