A great taste of Mecklenburg Germany right here in Mecklenburg County, NC. The Dusseldorf style Copper may be the tastiest and best balanced microbrew I have tasted. I love this style and enjoy this beer on a regular basis. It is now available at many bars around town. I like stopping by the brewery from time to time. It is... More

This is a small micro brewery with a number of tables where you can sit down and enjoy the on site brewed beer with a few items to eat. The attraction is the taste of the beer - especially the Copper that is so close to the beer that I and many others enjoyed in Dusseldorf (Germany) in the Olde... More

If you have not been here yet, then get yourself here pronto. Truly TERRIFIC German beer, all brewed on site. Try to take at our on Saturday of the facility. You learn lots and can drink while listening. OMB has many events during the weekends, so check out their website for info. The beer is awesome!

This brewery has indoor and outdoor seating, servers that come to your table and they have a food vendor, if you need a... More

Only had 3 on tap and got a growler of the RPA and Copper. Best of 4 breweries visited. Nice merchandise and 2 growler sizes.

We stopped by after dinner, about 30 minutes before they closed on a Thursday. We were the only patrons in the place. It was kind of nice, but we felt like we had to hurry so they could close. As always, the beer is great!

Great beer. Awesome atmosphere. Not too far from Uptown. Definite must go when in Charlotte. Have live music on Fridays and free tours on Saturdays

Old Mecklenburg Brewery is a fun place to visit if you like microbrews. They give a very good tour of the facility and teach you all you want to know about the equipment and the brewing process. Of course, after the tour you need to stay and sample in their tasting room! Very fun!
