Visiting from Australia, we did the tour recently with a group of friends from the Saratoga/Albany areas and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to America. A young lady was filling in for Joe as our guide and did a brilliant job leading us through the Farmers Market and some of Saratoga's other culinary... More

Visited Saratoga on Saturday and was fortunate to join Joe and his famous food tour. Bring your appetite, comfortable walking shoes and let yourself get whisked through the "golden age" of Saratoga Springs. Joe's tour was the highlight of our visit to the area. Touching on the highlights of the era when Saratoga was the place to be seen by... More

A very nice afternoon with Joe and the group. It all starts in the Farmer's Market which is the finest that I have ever been too. We got there an hour early, as Joe recommends, to slowly enjoy the scene, and purchase some goods. Once the tour started we spent some time in depth with some of the vendors. The... More

We're local to the area but still learned a lot about the city and its history. Great food sampling and really neat to interact directly with the owners and managers. Tour begins at the Saratoga Farmers Market, which last year got beat out by only a few votes as the "Best Farmers Market in America". Get to talk to some... More

We enjoyed the food tour over Memorial Day weekend. Joe our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and from the food samples we tried, he has good taste. We loved everything so much that we ended up buying almost everything we tried from amazing yogurt to some fresh made salsa, specialty Olive Oils and Vinegars. The farmers and storeowners are passionate... More

The food tour is a great way to explore Saratoga Springs. We've lived in the area for 15 years and discovered many new things on the tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and what's currently going on. From local maple syrup yogurt made from goats' milk to salsa, it covers a wide range of yummy... More

We enjoyed the tour tremendously and have already recommended it to our friends. Our guide, Joe, was extremely knowledgable and friendly. A truly unique experience of meeting local farmers and shopkeepers, hearing their stories and passions, and eating some amazing food!

My husband surprised me with this activity for our anniversary. We are both from Ballston Spa originally and thought this would be a nice reintroduction to Saratoga and the food scene. I cannot say enough about Joe and what a wonderful job he did. It was a mix of food, local farmers and vendors, local restaurants and history of the... More

Joe planned a tour of Saratoga for our group of 13 co-workers, it was enjoyed by all, Day was planned and executed wonderfully, we had 6 food tastings and learned so much about a city/community that even though most of us live near by, did not fully appreciate. I highly recommend this to any group.

What a lovely way to spend several hours and learn what Saratoga has to offer. The Farmer's Market is great place to start. The proprietor's were a pleasure, especially JoMo at The Old Byran Inn.
