So unbelievably beautiful! We went just before the peak season and it was quiet and lovely. There were tons of attractions in the area that weren't running yet, but I can't imagine a place with more to do if you're looking at coming with your family during the summer.

This area is beautiful, but everything is dated and feels old and run down. The most popular activity seems to be shopping in the abondant factory outlets, and skiing in the winter. Too bad

Lake George NY, nestled in the Adirondacks is an awesome destination for summer. The boys and i return often in early June for the Americade bike week, with over 75,000 visitors, and the whole town turns into a biker's heaven. The family and i also go later in the summer for great camping, evening strolls on Canada Street and the... More

The people who control the parking meters in Lake George are too aggressive. They give out tickets every few minutes. Great views of the lake from the park, overall the streets and sidewalks are kept clean.

It is one of my favorite getaways for a night away from crazy NYC. It is so calm and relaxing. Views of the lake are wonderful. Area is quite clean and green. Be wise when choosing your timing of the visit. Before mid-May, it will be like a ghost town, with very few (and that I mean only 4-5) shops... More

Streets torn up. Lots of repair work going on in the area. Wanted to walk around town and the lake but lots of barriers up and difficult to get around.

The Lake George area is the best for camping and water sports. If you want your family to have some outdoor fun than this is the sopt. Any of the camp sites are great and I have been to all of them.

We were here Easter weekend and Lake George Town is a ghost town. Majority of ALL Resturants were closed....no events going on at all...really boring. My husband and I are in our early 30's and we were looking of things to do after a day of hiking and Lake George at this time had nothing!!...Glens Falls has the outlets but... More
