Located in Cooperstown, there is so much to do . Swim at Glimmerglass Park on Otsego Lake. Doubleday Field. Baseball Hall of Fame. Farmers Museum. Antiques. Shops. and Opera.

It really doesnt matter what you go to see. it is always a great show, with great performer. this is the first year in about 5 that I have missed. If you are in the area you can find tickets at a reasonable price usually. ask about first time discount!

My husband and I have been to 3 Glimmerglass productions to date and have enjoyed each one thoroughly. It is not your run-of-the-mill opera company. They really try to stretch the opera boundaries. Glimmerglass has wonderful talent and is in an idyllic setting on the west side of Otsego Lake. It is now Glimmerglass Festival Theatre—a mix of opera and Broadway musicals.

Great opera in a bucolic setting. This is a must for Opera lovers. The program is varied and it is summer opera so the staging may not be traditional. Still, for voices and overall quality it can't be beaten.

This is one of Central New York's great treasures, a performance venue annually recognized and lauded by downstate media. This is a nice place to go. First time opera attendees, I enjoyed the adventure! The ambiance is great, staff is excellent, and the location is peaceful.

Great local color, excellent choices of what to see, I saw Carmen with a friend. A bit hot in the summer with the doors closed for the performance, but still a lot of fun. Pricey but worth it

Intimate opera house ...great performances. I have only been to the classic opera performances. I plan to broaden my enjoyment next season with a subscription.
