Your trip with the llamas is only the beginning. No matter how long or short your experience is it will truly be memorable and you are foolish not to take this opportunity if you are within at least 100 miles. Food is delicious and healthy, the hike is wonderful and company could not be better kept. Don't sleep on this... More

Two friends and I went on the llama trek this past week on a girls trip to New Mexico. Reading the other reviews, what more can I say other than the whole experience was wonderful. Stewart guided us through the gorge with patience and care and answered the million questions we had. The views were excellent and Stewart let us... More

Last week I went on a girls' trip to Santa Fe. One day we spent the day with Stuart and Wild Earth Llama Adventures--the Lunch with a llama trip. I cannot begin to tell you what an awesome adventure that was. There were three of us and we each had our own llama that somehow matched each of our personalities.... More

A day we will not forget was spent with Stuart, and Raja (sweetest llama ever) and two other couples, descending and then ascending (!!!) the Rio Grande Gorge. The views through the gorge are outstanding, and Stuart's knowledge of the environment and history of the area was excellent ... and greatly appreciated. Our llamas carried the gear down to the... What a great time my sister-in-law and I had with our llamas Diego and K2 and our wonderful guide Stuart! We had the choice of several hikes and we chose the one along the rim of the Rio Grande River Gorge. Fabulous views and an easy hike (I'm 64!) and the llamas carried our lunch. I can't recommend this highly... More

This is the second time I have taken a llama trek with Stuart. The first time was 12 years ago. Both adventures were out of this world amazing. Beautiful scenery, wonderful llamas, a very knowledgeable guide and fresh, great tasting food. You can't beat that. This is an adventure I would definitely rec.

Today my family went on our third trek with Stuart into the Rio Grande Gorge in the brand new national monument. We saw, petroglyphs, geologic wonders, a wild river, and our intrepid llamas, K2, Rio and Diego. Llama trekking offers the opportunity to be free of a daypack and just breathe in the wonders of nature. Stuart knows his landscapes,... More

What an awesome day. We could not have asked for more. Stuart is an INCREDIBLE guide. My husband and our 3 daughters had looked so forward to our "Take a Llama to Lunch" hike and yet, it exceeded all of our expectations. First, the scenery is breathtaking, it is a hidden gem that you feel as if only you and... More

Wow, wow, wow. This was incredible fun. Stuart is an AMAZING guide. He was patient, funny, and talked about geology, history, plant like, animals, llamas, petroglyphs, native people's, art, and so much more. I did the "take a llama to lunch" trek and was with a family who had 3 girls (ages15, 12, 10). They said it beat the Grand... More

I am now officially a Llama fan. What beautiful, gentle creatures they are. Hats off to Stuart for starting his Llama Rescue. Thank you for sharing them with us, we truly loved our Llama Adventure. There are of course many wonderful ways to spend a day in Taos. Having visited the art galleries, museums, plaza, we were looking for something... More
