A great round of golf. Fairways great and greens fast but true. Tough walking the top (back) 9. Challenging but good.
A long arranged game of golf seemed set to fail as the weather was wet and windy. We left the final decision until our 8am tee-time and the rain stopped. Our round was mostly dry until the 17th hole when the wet gear came out. We really enjoyed playing the course as we were led around by a local friend... More
A lovely golf course - half of which is flat and then rises up level with the Helderberg Nature Reserve and again offers great views of both False Bay and the Mountains. The club house is friendly and relaxed. They serve food - the calamari and greek salad are always a winner for us. The course can get busy, so... More
Whilst not the cheapest by SA standards, certainly one of the best. Excellent condition and very helpful staff and good facilities. Need to book in advance as this course is extremely popular with locals and overseas visitors. At the same time it is not possible to walk on as this is an exclusive venue., hence the very high standard!
Hotel guests are not allowed to visit the Pro Shop. Our clients also could not go and practice their skills. Surely the Hotel and Golf course are on the same property and as such should compliment each other. Very bad reflection on property as a whole
I have payed golf all over the world and rate this course one of the best that I've played. It's unfortunate that the foreign German swallows have claimed it as their own and are not the easiest to play behind or ahead of. My recommendation is to play early and get off before the members have had their breakfast.
What can I say.? The beauty that surrounds you is awesome, and this is just the beginning. The clubhouse is exceptional and the views from the restaurant are out of this world. Friendly and efficient staff with food out of the top draw. Fish, steak, vegetarian, you name it and all excellent. A place to be proud of
Everything at Erinvale from the rooms to restuarant is top notch. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is excellent, rates affordable and views amazing. Make the effort and time to drive out and treat yourself to a well deserved break not too far from home (for the local okes). For the traveller, its well worth the stop and not as... More
Fabulous views, a great place for lunch after a round of golf, and the service is always outstanding. The menu doesn't seem to vary very much, but everything on it is well prepared, and fresh.
