Great white wines - Maison offer a very good Rose wine. Decor and food are amazing. The back offers some brilliant views of the Franschoek mountains - Maison has several wooden long tables which would be ideal for groups in summer!

We visited the Maison Estate on the Franschhoek Uncorked and was impressed by the quality of food and wine. The restuarant has a stunnng view over the mountains.

We just kinda stumbled in at the end of the day. This is not wine tasting Napa-style. This winery is a combo winery & restaurant. I like the menu, the food is very good, service is usually very good, setting very nice. The personal wine tasting at the table adds something special. Lovely for summer lunches, not sure what it would be like in winter
