It's pretty cold regardless when you go but during the summer you need that cold water on you especially after a tan. It's free and clean. If you're lucky you can definitely see dolphins swimming close by but don't be scared because they are harmless.

I've been going to Wildwood since I was a baby. At age 33 now, I still don't miss a summer on the best beach on the East Coast!! HUGE, clean and free! Great lifeguards each year. I LOVE seeing dolphins out in the distance! Just love it more than any other beach. <3

Such an amazing beach. The beach is so wide and a long way to the water, but worth the walk. Strolling the beach along the ocean is a relaxing way to spend some time.

I have been going to Wildwood since I was in my teens.I have never seen beaches so W-I-D-E. They are clean and the life guards do a great job. We usually stay down in the crest it's a bit quieter.Kids(12,9&8) loved it!
