Loved the wide boardwalk, numerous benches perfect for sitting, resting, people watching and looking at the surf, and dozens of stores to buy souvenirs, clothing, snacks, etc.
I likes the tram because the walking is tiring. Too many families, annoying strollers . i prefer a higher caliber group of vacationers Beach is a hike from the boardwalk
Love this boardwalk, so much to do and see for all ages. Take the kids, you won't be dissapointed. Even the tram ride was thrill.
If you enjoy watching a bunch of kids walk arond with their underwear hanging out and their pants below there behinds then this is the place for you! I thought there was a law passed or something to stop this. If that is the case I hope Wildwood has it in "their budget" to hire people to start handing out...

Nice , calm boardwalk on Jersey shore . Loved the white sand beaches . Calm but had lots of options for kids like games , rides /water parks , go carting , extreme rides etc.Awesome family vacation spot.
What a great place every morning I get up and run from 2nd ave to Diamond beach. and part of that run is on the boardwalk. Its nice to see so many people that early in the morning and then in the evening taking our grandkids to play games and ride the rides. great family fun
The Wildwood Board walk extends about two miles. The boardwalk is wide and clean. It is also very safe. The boardwalk has its share of souvenir shops, fast order eateries, taffy and salt water shops, and of course amusement areas. There are three amusement piers with all the rides that are needed for a great day or night at the...

The shops had the same cloths and some were... well, vulgar. There was one game that made some poor dude upset, he couldn't make the bell ring! I won from a game a cute wolf! The go-carts were fun, but the men who worked there weren't so nice.
The Wildwood boardwalk is loud, cheesy, and fun. The tshirt shops ubiquitous, each carrying exactly the same, often vulgar iron-ons. There are amusement rides, pizza shops, ice cream stands with waffles, spiral potato chips on a stick, boardwalk games, and blacklight mini-golf. Roving bands of teenagers (whose offenses largely seemed to be that they were loud and flung themselves about...
