The shops are devine, the outside places to eat and drink are cute and the atmosphere is great! We had never visited this area and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very happy with what I found!! Visit here if you are anywhere close (I'm 4 hrs. away!)! I will return soon...

This a very cute town. There a lot of gift shops and places to eat. You could spend an entire day here. It is right on the water.

Darling historical district with many little specialty shops and cafes. It is fun to walk around and see all the shops and walk by the river and park. The crafters are amazing, you can find some very nice personalized things there for anyone on your list.

We enjoyed walking in the historical district of St. Charles. The old time shops and restaurants were wonderful.

We live about 2 1/2 hours from St. Charles and make several trips over to visit this awesome destination each year. We are always recommending it to others, as we know the unique shops and eateries will be a big hit with many of our friends. Shopping, eating, sightseeing, it's all contained in beautiful Historic Downtown St. Charles.

St Charles is a requested destination when I have out of state friends in. We stop here on the way to airport (or from the airport) to spend the afternoon shopping & having lunch/dinner before heading home (Columbia). Beautiful area with great shops & restaurants!
