Very nice track. Nice setting. 3 levels so plenty of room and tons of food options. Good sight lines because of the options. Casino also attached to the track with lots of poker tables and $5 Blackjack tables. Had a really nice time and enjoyed the evening.

We recently became "part-owners" of our first race horse through a race horse partnership at Canterbury Park. Not only will we enjoy watching the races and placing bets on our favorites, but now we will cheer on our own horse. Yesterday we went to an ownership meeting at the Park and learned a lot about becoming a horse owner, we... More

It is always a good time at the race track at Canterbury Park! It is a very family friendly place and kids can pet the horses as well. You can make cheap bets or pony up (no pun intended). It is cheap to get in and have a great afternoon with friends or family! It is very economical if you... More

The quality of horses is not the best. The ambiance is good and if you are bored with the track there is a casino on site. It is a good place for a relaxing afternoon. However, I do not believe serious hourse racing fans will be very satisfied.

I love going here at least twice a summer. My kids love getting hot dogs and making $1.00 horse bets. They can pet horses, play at a large park, stroll through the greenery, listen to a band or watch wiener dog races. It's fun for all. One event that is great for adults is beer tasting night. There is also... More

This is a wonderful find for adults and kids! Especially those who love horses! Family friendly! Live music on night racing. Great place for kids to see a live band. Fun to watch horses and "vote" on your horse and cheer them on!!! Can't say enough a great family evening!

I thought it was about bookies and bets, but it's much more. You can bring your kids and eat Fair food, or you can get a restaurant table where the waitress will save you the trouble of getting out of your seat to place your bets.

There was so much to see and choose from. Hundreds of vendors selling various items. I was looking for craft projects for me to do. I found a lot of craft projects that had already been completed. I was unable to walk away empty handed

Easy and free parking, admission is cheap and sometimes free. Races are spaced out well, you can also see the horses up close before each race. Lots of food and beverage options. I haven't been to the casino part of it, but during the summer, the races are fun to bet on.

We don't gamble much, and we only go to Canturbury once a summer, but it's been a fun family outing. We focus on watching the horses as they're walked around the circle with their trainers, commenting on which one we think will win. Then we can all cheer on our favorite horses. It doesn't have to be an expensive day--we... More
