Spring thru fall there is always an abundance of flowering gardens. In October the trees have great color. There's always a good chance of seeing wildlife, if you're looking(ducks, hawks, muskrat, weasel, wide variety of song birds) Often there is photo or painting displays, also.

Fun place for hikes and cross-country skiing. The gardens are beautiful and the place is educational for homeowners who want to enhance their outdoor areas.
