Watching a movie from the deck after viewing the sunset over Muskegon Harbor is a great way to spend a summer Friday evening.

We took our 8th grade class to visit this WWII Navy ship. We found it very interesting. The people working there were very helpful and shared a lot of information with our students. It was worth the trip.

This is a real submarine so the tour is VERY close quarters. If you're claustrophobic, don't wait in line. It's obviously not handicap friendly, but there's no way to do it. You can book the ship for an overnight party. Everything looks and smells just like it did when it was in service. Brings back memories when you've served on... More

We visited the USS LST 393 and the USS Silversides. Although this Silversides was a great WWII historic site, I found this place even more exciting. Basically a floating museum that contains a lot more than just information about the LST. The history of what this ship did during WWII was exciting, but being able to go through basically every... Great self guided tour. Lets you take your time and study the parts you find interesting. You got to go into all the parts of the ship that are typically off limits on other boat tours. Loved crawling around in the engine room. The smell of diesel takes you back to when this ship used to run. Not real handicapped... More

Such an awesome ship! You can feel the presence of soldiers as you witness history. Take the tour. You will not be sorry.

This is a must see. I loved touring this ship and climbing all over its decks. My teenage son was not bored while on this ship. That is saying a lot for him to not be bored. He found it very interesting. So many interesting things to see on this ship. If you have clausterphobia you might want to avoid... More
