You owe it to yourself to see this center - it is a chance to immerse yourself into a Tribe's culture, ways of life, governing, beliefs, etc., that is a massive history lesson for us all. The sights & sounds are captivating - this has got to be one of the finest museum experiences you'll see.

The Center gives you a history of the tribe of Indians who settled this area with beautiful stations that guide you through the museum and narrates in their language as well as English. A spiritual experience and must see when you visit Mt. Pleasant.

Fascinating presentation of the history, mythology, and culture of Michigan's Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. I had never been particularly interested in such matters, but one visit to this museum changed all that. Definitely worthy of repeat visits and an excellent destination when cabin fever strikes during one of those long, cold Michigan winters, especially because entry is free!

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe has left no detail unturned. From the architecture of the building itself to everything inside, it all has meaning.
