This is a drive-thru park with some of the more unique and creative pieces of art you might expect to ever see. Located just east of Marquette on M-28, it is well worth the stop if you're passing by. Heck, it's even work driving a bit to see it.

The park is a self toured sculpture park. No admission fee; however donations are requested. The sculptures are man-made from various pieces of equipment, metal, etc. The park 'road' is one way traffic allowing families to view the artwork. If you choose, you many walk the route also. This man is the kindest and most welcoming man you will ever meet. His art is amazing and his hospitality is second to none. I have been here several time via snowmobile because the trail runs right by it. He always has a fire going and a buffet of snacks, coffee and cocoa. He asks for nothing in return exept...

Great diversion anytime of year. Very interesting to see a great local artist. Visit every other year or so just to see what is new.
Just a few miles east on M-28 from Marquette/Harvey, you cannot possibly miss this fun for-all-ages attraction. It's pretty cool to see how everyday junk and waste can be constructed into memorable pieces of art, and this man has dedicated his life to this, for the enjoyment of all, and for no fee. You can simply park and walk (even...

I admit I was a bit skeptical about this when my friends were raving about it, but they told me I needed to see it. When I pulled in I was blown away at the sculptures in the park. Very nice throughout and I will be glad to stop back through to see the new additions.
Can't say enough good things about Lakenenland. Great for people of all ages. Visitor friendly. A unique Outdoor Art Sculpture Park that is fun to visit in every season. Even though I live in the area, everytime I go to the Park there is something new added. It is a great cross-country ski venture. We take all our visitors there...

This "junkyard art" sculpture park is entertaining, funny, and makes you wonder how they came up with their ideas! They are constantly adding new sculptures. It's open in winter, so you can snowmobile through it (and they have hot drinks, snacks, and a campfire so you can warm up before/after). There's no admission fee, though there's a place you can...

The giant tyrannosaurus holding a fish caught our eye as we were heading from Munising to Marquette and I said to my wife "Let's stop on the way back and take a picture." What a surprise when we found there was a whole collection of these creative sculptures scattered throughout the trees. I can't add much to what others have...
