This is a nice museum with very pleasant staff working there. Be prepared that they are undergoing an expansion so there is construction around the museum. Paintings were nice - if a little limited in selection. The collection of silver was beautiful - I enjoyed "creating" my own museum exhibit using a touch screen menu - lots of fun. It... More

Offerings in the museum were limited as they have temporary exhibit space while major expansion is going on. Why they would renovate an existing building while a new one is being built, rather than waiting until the new one is complete, is beyond me.

Wonderful museum. Particularly enjoyed the curator talk and audio guide. Be aware--it's currently under expansion/construction and full collection is not available.

Not too big, so you can take children and they won't be fed up. They loved the rooms upstairs that you can check out each bit of art with an iPad! Beautiful grounds to walk around.

Enjoyed the Clark. I liked the paintings from Frederic Remington and my wife enjoyed the paintings from Winslow Homer and the Electric Paris exhibit. There is a renovation project going on but that was ok with us. We enjoyed our visit and it is free in the winter, so I can't understand why someone would say they were disappointed.

Going to the Clark is like coming home to see all of my favorite paintings. A lot of them are away on tour now and anew addition is currently being built so check their web site for updates before you go there

Stunning collections of art - supplemented by tablets & audio aides to explain displays. Special exhibits of Paris Illuminated and Back Stories were especially interesting. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful experience.

Full disclosure! The museum is undergoing a major renovation, which means not only are the displays a bit random, and not all pieces are even out, but also you don't get to see the beautiful building that usually houses the art. Having said that, for the price of admission (FREE in winter!), you get a small beautiful collection of some... More

Will return after renovations are completed in 2014, we were disappointed . Most of the collection is on tour.

Very nice small art museum in a scenic country locale. Very sophisticated and comfortable to prowl around in. Not overwhelming like the alot of the big places are. You can picnic outside too.
