If in the area, be sure and check out the Stageloft Theater. The theater is small in size, but definitely not in talent. It is easy to pass it by, as it sits off the main road, but once you have found it, you have found a treasure. Professional in every sense of the word. Kudo's to the Stageloft

We enjoyed "The Grapes of Wrath" and compliment a talented cast for handling a difficult subject so well. Reserving tickets was easy with a call back from Ed, and this handicapped facility made it easy for my husband to navigate. This is a small theater with small set design, but has all it needs to put on a good show.... More

Fun place to see live theater because it's intimate; plenty of parking; ticket prices are reasonable. Have been several times over the years and have enjoyed it every time.

I have never liked the movie The Christmas Story. I find it very annoying- "You'll shoot your eye out" over and over. Unfortunately, when I booked a block of tickets for a scout outing, I was thinking about The Christmas Carol, and didn't realize until it was too late that I was in for the wrong story. I went into... More

We’ve been to several plays at Stageloft and haven’t been disappointed yet. Our preference is comedies. The actors have all been very talented and the plays often get 4 star reviews in the local paper. It is a small venue and you will not see elaborate staging as in the bigger theaters, but the prices are very reasonable ($15 seniors)... More

Went to Stageloft on Saturday night. It was my first time there. Saw a "Columbo" style comedy/drama. It was very good. The actors were great and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Small and intimate. Cookies and soda are offered for a "free will" donation. I'd go back.

I have been a fan of this lovely theater since it was originally in a small local barn behind an inn. I go to every comedy, some of the musicals and a few dramas. I love the atmosphere and camaraderie amongst the players and actors in this finely honed company. It's a great night out, always a professional performance and... More

As a Sturbridge resident, I've seen many shows at Stageloft over the years. Ed Cornely and company do a consistently nice job in this cozy little theater. And the price...what, $15 or so?...is a steal. No, it ain't Broadway. But it's a nice, relaxing couple hours. Combine with a meal at a restaurant of your choice for a great night... More
