Convenient off the thruway with some New England charm along the way. Very nice collection and worth the memories and seeing some new experiences too. One can spend an hour or half a day. Worth the stop.

I have visited this Museum several times, whenever I am in the area, because as a professional illustrator I like to see the work, in collections. of other illustrators. My only reservation in rating this museum is that the exhibitions are interesting, due to the subject matter, but they are not displayed with any special flair.

If you are staying in the area - great activity with the family but anyone over 40 will enjoy even more-so. The grounds are beautiful and walking through the building is a walk back in time.
