We found this to be a wonderful beach at this time of year for walking and just enjoying the ocean. It's very clean and wending our way here from Rt. 6A are streets with very beautiful homes.

The beach is complete covered in rocks. Seriously. You can't walk anywhere including in the water without shoes. There is also very few places you can lay down, again, because every inch between the water and the dunes is covered with rocks. There was no one in the water. When I did go close there was a couple dead crabs...

Vast open beach. Great beach combing. Beautiful views. Sandy Neck is a legend. Can't wait to get back for an evening campfire.
