This beach has the best dunes on the Mid-Cape. It's a great beach for a sunset stroll or a jeep ride. Your vehicle has to pass inspection to ride the dunes.

Sandy Neck is a northside beach where the tide goes out for quite a ways. Parts are nice and sandy, and a lot of it is pebbled, and the water is cold- all year! The beach has a snack bar and restrooms open in the summer. We usually go there to walk-in the spring and fall- you can walk for... More

We found this to be a wonderful beach at this time of year for walking and just enjoying the ocean. It's very clean and wending our way here from Rt. 6A are streets with very beautiful homes.

Very scenic; my first trip to Cape Cod. I sat in the lifeguard chair just because I could! Took great photos!

Stopped here on a drive along Cape Cod. Beautiful views. A nice beach. Restroom facilities and water fountain available.

It is hard to imagine so much natural beauty so close to Boston, but Sandy Neck is a huge reserve with sandy paths through large dunes, miles of untouched shoreline, and flocks of birds. You'll need to know a local to drive out: good news if you know somebody, bad news if you don't.

Devoted to the Bay beaches, I find this one disappointing, if only because the sand is much coarser and the tide doesn't go out as far as it does on any of the Bay beaches further down the Cape. The good news: you can probably get a parking space if you arrive by 9:30

A nice sandy beach on the Cape Cod Bay. Remember Bay Side = Colder water. Limited parking and constant off road access closures or restrictions. New bath house and restroom facilities.

The beach is complete covered in rocks. Seriously. You can't walk anywhere including in the water without shoes. There is also very few places you can lay down, again, because every inch between the water and the dunes is covered with rocks. There was no one in the water. When I did go close there was a couple dead crabs... More

Vast open beach. Great beach combing. Beautiful views. Sandy Neck is a legend. Can't wait to get back for an evening campfire.
